Save money off a dental in May

Regular equine dental checks are important for the overall health of the horse. LLEP are offering clients £10 off all routine dentals throughout May 2025.

The importance of routine equine dental care

We know how important it is to make sure that your horse’s routine healthcare is up to date, which is why we are delighted to be offering £10 off all routine dentals during the month of May!

Equine dentistry has evolved rapidly and our team of experienced equine vets have all undertaken further training to ensure that we are providing a thorough and detailed examination as well as the necessary teeth rasping.

Our routine dental examination includes:

1. Thorough assessment of all teeth and oral soft tissue with the aid of dental mirrors and picks

2. Rasping – careful reduction of sharp points and balancing of arcades

3. Identification of abnormalities – for example cavities, fractured teeth and abnormal spaces between teeth

After your appointment, our vets will email you your horse’s dental report for your records.

We advise every horse should have a dental examination every 6 -12 months. Many minor problems can be corrected immediately, or we may advise corrective or advanced treatments to prevent more serious problems developing.

As well as ensuring the ongoing oral comfort of your horse, some insurance companies may not pay on a claim, if your horse’s routine work is not kept up to date.
