Established in 2005, Loch Leven Equine Practice offers a comprehensive range of services for horse owners across Central Scotland.

Our ‘on the road’ ambulatory service covers routine and emergency care, with our purpose-built equine clinic offering superior hospital facilities in the event of horses requiring surgery or round the clock care.

Led by Hugh Somerville BVSc Cert AVP (ESO) (VDI) MRCVS and Jenny Croft BVMS Cert EP MRCVS – Advanced Practitioner in Equine Practice our experienced equine-only team are caring and compassionate and take pride in offering a professional and personalised service to all of our clients and their horses, ponies or donkeys.

Our team of equine vets, nurses and support staff receive regular ongoing training to ensure we provide the highest quality of care. We are on hand 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and welcome second opinion or referral cases from other veterinary practices.
