Originally from Lanarkshire Rachel grew up on a family sheep farm, before doing her veterinary degree at the University of Liverpool.

In 2017 Rachel represented Great Britain in Canada where they became International Pony Club Mounted Games Exchange Champions! She has represented Scotland twice at The Royal Windsor Horse Show, as well as represented her Pony Club at HOYS.

Outside of work Rachel enjoys reading, running and curling.
