Emily grew up in a professional yard in Fife, surrounded by horses all of her life. Having started riding before she could walk, she is an accomplished event rider having ridden up to 2*, and began her career as a groom at her home, Team Oakden, before spending time working on professional yards in England.

Emily is passionate about the in-patient care of the horses at Loch Leven Equine Practice, and making them feel like they are at home, and loves nothing more than helping them get better.

Since moving back to Scotland Emily has been enjoying producing her horses Fizz and Mowgli, and outside work she can sometimes be found on a dance floor, or sleeping!
