In most cases it is normal for your own vet to request a referral to us. However there may be occasions when you would like to self-refer or request a second opinion. We are very happy to make you an appointment but we will need to contact your vet practice to request any relevant clinical history and notify them that you have requested an appointment. 

 

We strongly believe that is in the best interests of all our patients to work closely with other equine practices and will make sure that we communicate with them regarding your horse’s care. All of our patients are discharged with full discharge instructions and a veterinary report and a copy will be sent to your own vet so if necessary they can continue your horse’s care at home.
