We are looking for a new team member to join our equine office team. The role will involve helping and supporting our clients and other veterinary practices, booking patients in for procedures, general office administration and supporting our team of equine vets and nurses.

This is an extremely important and varied role. Client care is the backbone of the practice and is responsible for providing a first class service to our clients, both in person if at the clinic and over the phone.

You should have a friendly and positive outlook, with a caring and compassionate telephone manner, and be committed to and experienced in the delivery of excellent customer care. Previous office experience and the ability to demonstrate a customer service background will be required.

We are looking for our new team member to join us for a minimum of 34 hours, over a minimum of four days.

In addition, we would love for someone to be able to join us on the Out Of Hours (OOH) rota of 1:5 weeknights and weekends for the care of any inpatients including all yard duties and assisting the vets as required. This addition to the rota is desirable, but not essential.

Veterinary experience is not essential, as training will be provided, but knowledge and experience of handling horses is essential.

Other benefits include enhanced maternity pay, 28 days holiday and an additional day for each year worked up to maximum of 35 days, a workplace pension and income protection scheme available – plus many benefits, and lunch is provided each day!
